So I keep hearing a noise on my bike, I can't tell where its coming from. It happens at idle, even when I rev. Its kind of like a chirping high pitch sound.

So a normal exhaust running would sound like this "buh buh buh buh buh buh buh"

Mine sounds like this "buh chirp buh chirp buh chrip buh chrip"

Its not loud at all and is pretty hard to hear. I have no clue what this is! Anyone have any idea?

 

it sounds like your bike has gas...

seriously...it's very hard to diagnose random noises on a bike...especially when they are spelled!

Maybe i'll just ignore it until something falls off. Then i'll know what the noise was, lol

 

sounds lile a bird might wanna check that out.

or it could even be your cctl ( cam chain tensioner)

 

once i had a buh buh battta tat tat batta tat tat then i remembered i had the movie Stomp on while i was working on my bike...

 

lol... that **** is just too funny man. man i will remember not to spell out how my bike sounds man. ppl on her are great man they will give you a hard time about anything funny which is good because it makes me laugh when they are dissin my ****, lets me know what i got to do.

 

i think its your carb

then check your choke

if it isnt that its definately a problem with your flux

 

Mine chirps. For real.

 

if its chirping between bups its definetly the flux capacitor. it get that to the Doc very soon. either that or your pipe swallowed a small bird. could possilby be BOTH. in which case a hard twist of the throttle should send the bird flying out the exhaust pipe. Good luck.
