What did you do to your F4i today?
Yes, I removed the timing inspection cover, put a socket on the bolt and turned the engine by hand while screwing in the CCT Bolt with the other hand until I could feel the chain undulating against the internal chain guide. Backed it out 1/4 turn and locked it into place with the jam nut.
I did not bother removing the airbox as the fuel rail is the real problem not the airbox and I DID NOT want to bother removing the fuel rail as I did that a couple years ago when I had a FPR problem with the bike and did not really want to do it all again even though it really isn't that much of a task.
Instead I removed the TPS sensor plug, disconnected the rear brake reservoir letting it hang down by the footpeg and then I removed the top right sub frame bolt, permanently discarding the radiator overflow tank at the same time.
All that gave me enough room to barely get my hand into area from behind and touch the CCT bolt with my fingertips.

I was wondering if you had any other side/ back pictures of this fender eliminator? I was thinking about doing the same to my f4.
today was my first time over 100mph ('_'), i slowed down take a corner and then my air duct flew off. so i go to turn around and get it then i noticed my whole right side was gone. I found it in the field after 30min of searching. it still looks good from 5 feet. I wanted to redo for the winter anyway heres my chance
Fairly new rider and new F4i owner here, been browsing a while. My first post, thought it was a nice place to start.
Rode to work in the cool 45F Kansas morning and took her out to some light twisties after work once it warmed up a bit. Checked on the status of my flush mount front signals.

With a little help last night, my brother and I were successfully able to mount an F4I tail fairing(track) to an F4 rear subframe with a little modification. After reading for hours to try and find if someone done it before I found nothing, only people saying it couldnt be done. But I am thinking if it was a stock fairing with front and rear seats it would have been impossible as the latches would not match up but being a track fairing we only had to worry about the front seat which fits and mounts perfectly fine. We still have 2 mounts to fab up in the rear but the hard part is done.
