I agree with orags, there is more than normal bt 6-7k rpm but it smoothens out after that. But not as bad as you are making it sound.

I've noticed that mine has always had some vibration to it, but recently (13k on odom.) it has been vibrating over 6k rpms to the point were it gets annoying. My right hand goes numb after 20-30 min. then my feet start to get it too!
Probably doesn't help that I put a 520 chain kit with-1 frt and +2 rear.
When you hand goes numb.... we call that the "stranger" LOL

I bought my '06 F4i brand new last year and I notice horrible vibration, hand going numb, with anything BELOW 6k. I found that 7-9k is where my bike runs the most smooth. When I ride on the freeway in tennis shoes my feet feel major vibrations they go numb and I have to ride with the arches of my feet on the pegs.

ENJOY YOUR NEW RIDE!!

My 06 is very smooth right through the rpm range. Images in the mirrors are always steady. Mind you I only have about 3k on it.

There should bea littlerace-bike buzziness but not any bad vibrations. These are Honda's after all.
Hand numbness can be from gripping too tight but foot numbness...somethings not right...especially from
a '06. Maybe dirty injectors.

Its the cam chain tensioner, about a $100 job if you go have someone do it or else the part is like $40, they are notorious for it, i have an 02 that did it, but at only 500mi idk have it checked just to be sure.
