Default Urgent clutch help needed

Hey guys im new to the site and needed some advice.
I just got a 2006 f4i that needed a clutch, i ordered a barnett clutch kit with steels and fibers. I put it in the other night and for some reason i had to adjust my cable all the way out to get any resistance in the lever when before it was fine with the cable all the way in, and it still is not disengaging 100%. When i click it into neutral the bike still pulls a little and vibrates. My question is at the bottom of the basket there are two small metal rings one is concave and the other is not, does it matter which order/direction these go in? what else should i check?

Thanks alot!
Jake

yeah it matters

did you soak the fiber plates in oil over night before you installed them?
did you use a torque wrench on the pressure plate bolts?

i don't have my manual here with me, i'll get back with you tomorrow and let you know how the 2 rings go in

That's the judder spring and seat. They basically help with clutch chatter. The larger side of the concave one faces the clutch cover, the flat one just fits over the concave one. I'd take the Barnett's and measure the thickness and compare with your manual. I'm not much on Barnett's clutches for that very reason. I bet they are thinner than stock by a few thousandths, and that definitely matters. Did one of the Barnett fibers have a larger I.D. than the others? If so, that one goes in first. It's larger on the inside to go over the judder spring.
