I just use a Filter from Honda. Ive heard people say something about using a cheap civic filter from walmart and Rotella oil. I prefer Honda stuff since I know it works good. As far as plugs, I just swapped mine out for NGK Imr9a-9h

yup always use a honda filter, and NGK plugs, as for the oil i usually get whats on sale. i worked for a oil company and alot of them come from the same plant and are just packaged in different bottles. last time i used mobile one, but i do always get full synthetic.

I wished I could find the link to an article I read, they disassembled a bunch of oil filters and compared them. The best constructed ones were Bosch, Mobil 1, Wix, and the wal mart brand. The worst on was Fram, and Honda OEM was in between. So for 2.99 you get a BETTER filter then the 12.99 stealership price. Make sure the oil you use does NOT have friction modifiers, check the doughnut on the label. I use Rotella T in the BLUE jug (NOT the white one) +1 on the NKGs but you're gonna spend 40-50 bucks on em. Flush the anti-freeze (coolant for those in warmer climates), and brake fluid too.

I run OEM with all engine related things, like oil, and filters. Just a safety thing
