tip over sensor
hey guys my 2001 currently will not even start up the fuel pump, I tipped it over the dumbest way possible I was at a stop sight went to turn left and gave it just a little to much throttle and just spun around and it hit the ground not hard but it still did. now Im not really sure but is there a way to "reset" the tip over sensor or remove it or something. the bike sounds like it wants to start but it just isn't getting fuel and when I turn the key the fuel pump priming sound isn't there anymore. Any ideas or options are very helpful, thanks guys.
The BAS (Bank Angle Sensor or Tip Over Sensor) is located below the windscreen. Remove that to access it. There is a procedure in the manual for testing its operation. Standing the bike upright and turning the bike off for a few moments and then back on should be sufficient. If it broke lose, then that may be your issue.
