First thing that comes to mind is the BAS, aka tip sensor, but that will correct itself when upright. What other damage was there? Kick stand switch maybe, on that side...

I would have to agree with the 74Demon guy. It might be that Bank Angle Sensor, but other than the fuel pump not priming, will it turn over, click, make any noise? I think if it doesn't do ANYTHING except turn the power on then it is the BAS. Good luck.

no other damage except some scratching...and we're is the bas sensor located? and the kickstand would not let the bike crank not stop the fuel pump from running id think?

The BAS is on the underside of the bracket that the front seat slides into, and holds the rear of the fuel tank.

After you check all that has been suggested, and the fuel pump still does not prime then start there, unplug connector and check for voltage with the key on. If you have power going to the pump power up the pump. Pump should run. If no power to pump backtrack from there, Fuse, relay, kickstand, clutch, etc.

As others have suggested, it could be the bas. You should be able to bypass the sensor to make sure its not the sensor. They get damaged in a crash. I'm not 100 percent sure on that model, but most you can unplug the sensor and take a jumper wire, connect the two outer pins of the plug and that will bypass it.

The other thing that comes to mind is the killswitch. It will allow the bike to crank, but it won't allow any spark or fuel. It may be a good time to check for spark as well.

Bypass it first to make sure thats your problem before you spend your money on a new one.
