Default Is there a flip over sensor?

Hi,

I wrecked my bike a while back. I think the bike flipped a couple times. Now when I tried to start it, it would turn over but wouldn't actually start up.

What I noticed was that the fuel pump wasn't making the usual priming noise so I figured it wasn't getting fuel and thats why it wouldn't start.

So my question is... Is there a sensor or fuse that disables the fuel pump in the event that the bike crashes? If so, where is it?

Any other helpful information you may have would be great.

Thanks!

Unhook the battery for a while should reset it. Its refered to as the Bank Angle Sensor or BAS. You can bypass it by hooking up a piece of wire to the two outter connections of the plug.

So when you flip over next time it keeps running? I hope your only talking about disabling it to test it.

To bypass the Bank Angle Sensor:

1. Unplug the Bank Angle Sensor from the three pin plug.
2. Jump the Red/White Wire to the Green Wire.
3. Your Bank Angle Sensor is now bypassed.

I do this on track days for my 2001 Honda CBR600 F4i

So as you see it does have the flip over sensor, but when I turned mine over, and the sensor kicked on, the bike wouldnt even turn over. When you hit the start button it didnt do anything... 2 days later, started up first try.
