Default Speedo healer coupling?

Was your wiring to the speed sensor as much of a bitch to get to as mine? Mine sat literally right under the coolant reserve reservoir. I had to be rather creative to get to it and even more creative to unplug the SOB. Japanese are great at building stuff, but not everyone sports size XXS hands. Jeebus....

MINE WAS TOO, omg. I had to remove the top two bolts of the subframe, tilt it down so I could have room to move the coolant reservoir, THEN fiddle with the plug for 10 minutes. Then put it all back to normal.

Worth it, though

ha ha - ya - I was lucky on the F4, it wasn't quite as deep in there apparently.

I'm constantly reminded that when they built this bike they built it to be fast, not easy to work on.

The F4 suffered from too small a stator (fixed on the F4i), too small a battery... it was never built to idle in traffic - however - on the track there is no such thing as idle (or speedometer).

I just got done installin my acouple hours ago... I have small hands and still took forever to get the dumb thing unplugged! My hand is def torn up a little... Least once you get the stupid thing unplugged its a breeze after that. I went from the left side under and kindof on the side of the shock to get to the plug. Def feel your pain! This thing better work magic lol

Almost all retail prices will be around the same. Here's one on Ebay for $110 shipped. That's probably as good as you'll find without having a connection or something.
