Default Speedo Healer

So it arrives today, yay. In work I think i`ll fit that tonite dead easy 10 min job. Gets everythin out tank cover off, tank up connection seperated. Then open the packey for the connecting harness, its only the wrong one isn`t it. Is nothing easy?

I did the same thing with my HB flush mounts. All the plastic off and then I open the box to nice set of GSX LEDs. Call and explain how you feel and make sure you keep going until you get the right person that will overnight the right harness.

sorry about the luck anubis, but i got a quick question about how and where the speedohealer plugs in. is it like the pc3 where you separate a connection and run it through the new wiring or is it something that you have to splice into?

Wow I just got mine today but won't put it on until wednesday hope the right harness is there. On the splicing it depends on your bike but most including your 929 like mine is a plug and play,well that is if the plug is right.

There all plug in jobbies similar to the way the PC3 connects up, Really easy to do.

Hey... just an FYI. I read the speedo healer web site. I've seen a lot of speedo healers being sold as 03 and up or 03-05. The 05 needs the Honda type II plug.

Copy & paste from their site:



- Honda-I plug-n-go kit: Fits ALL Honda motorcycles with electronic speedometer, such as:
CBR600F3, CBR600F4, CBR600F4i, CBR600FS, CBR600RR (2004 and earlier), CBR900RR Fireblade, CBR929RR, CBR954RR, CBR1100XX Blackbird, X11, CB600, CB900 Hornet, CB1300, CBF250, CBF500, CBF600, GoldWing GL1800, VFR750, VFR800, VTR1000F FireStorm, VTR1000 SP-1, SP-2, RC51, ST1300, XL1000 Varadero (2004 and earlier), VT, VTX1800 (2004 and earlier), etc..



- Honda-II plug-n-go kit: ONLY for the following Honda models with re-designed speed sensor connector:
CBR1000RR, CBR600RR (2005-), XL1000 Varadero (2005-), VTX1300, VTX1800 (2005-)

Yep thats what he did Don, Sent me the Honda I Kit, Got it Now. The Speedo Healer itself is the same it the harness thats different.
