Bought the bike used, can seem to find a pic or anything about the actual hardware. where would it mount? etc
this is on a 2005 CBR 1000rr

 

generally speaking, they're likely to be under one of the seats. beyond that I think its like a little black or yellow box thing, but I dont know much about them as most all of my knowledge is in much older cable driven speedometers and the bikes those speedometers are on.

 

normally it's under the rear seat.Small black box with 6 dip switches on it.
