Nope you got it. Nice and simple.
If you have ever ran your bike hard, say in first gear for example taking it to 14k rpm, and let off the gas you'll notice that your back tire will either jump or simply not spin. Now if you have a slipper clutch in the same situation, the clutch "slips" allowing for the tire to turn slightlypreventing wheel stop which causes the rear to jump at high rpm. This is mostly used in race application when dealing with hard downshifts.
