The 2006 GSXR600 does not have a slipper clutch from the factory, but rather a slipper LIKE clutch. not the same. anyway, the answer is yes, there are two aftermarket slipper clutch solutions for the 2006 CBR600RR that i am aware of, one of which is Yoyodyne. i forget the other.

I should have known it was not the real deal from the factory. Anyway thanks bro. I just keep staring at gsxr wondering if there are any parts I like better or are better quality that I should put on honda. There is so much I want o do to this bike but I guess I should wait untill my pocket book can handle my imagination

to be honest, a slipper clutch is a $700 paper weight. you don't need one if you know how to feather the clutch. do some practice and you've just saved $700 bux.

Im sure most pro racers would disagree, its obviously on most race bikes for a reason, engine braking can very easily break the traction on the rear wheel and send you into the weeds.

And i'm sure most pro racers don't have them on their street machine either. Handy for racing, worthless on the street.

umm...we know what engine braking and down shifting does...that's why there is something called rev-matching you can do...it came out back in the day when the cavemeng invented the wheel...but it worked great for those who have the skills for it.

Slippers rule on a race bike! but No real use on a street bike. Yes, I know how to rev match....been doing it for years, but the slipper helps even more.

The three that I know that have them for a 600rr of and I would use are: Yoyodyne, STM & Sigma Performance.
