Slip-On Installed, but is a PCIII Required??

You can get rid of the popping and backfire by blocking of the clean air intake inside the air box. what this does is close of the clean air that is drawn into the exhaust to burn of all unused fuel. you can buy the block off plates for around $30 or make your own. check your service manual for locations some bikes have them in different spots. A friend installed them on his 636 made a huge differance.

Do you know where to get the block-off plates? I have heard alot of people say to do this, but I'm not really sure what it does to the bike. Will it hurt anything? Thanks in advance

First - A New Pope
Second (devil worked at foot locker) The Empire Strikes Back
Third (best one) - Return of the Rabbi

Then they did some other ones too...

ok nevermind, i see Don has got you covered. don't look here...

to make this post worthwhile, there's a PCIIIr, which does everything the PC3 does, and then lets you adjust timing as well.
