Shorten my chain?

Default Shorten my chain?

hey everyone, i am about to drop a tooth on my front sprocket and i was wondering if i would need to shorten my chain by cutting a link out afterwards or would it be fine the way it is?

alright thanks for the help! and second question, how much of a pain is it to get the the f4i speed sensor to install a speedoDRD?

yeah i have seen that thread but i was just wondering if it was as easy as it looked lol and my difference is going to be -11.2 with the -1 front and stock rear

i was wondering about this myself and, its all mechanical so it doesnt seem like it should be too complicated with formula's.
i guess if it were any easier the sensor would be on the front wheel. and that wouldnt be very accurate i imagine.

well i think just getting to the sensor is the problem, i heard u have to have tiny woman hands to get ahold of the thing lol

and just a heads up, i will have to cut a link out of my chain. the EK chain i have on right now has only 3000 miles on it and i had to adjust it out so far that its at the point telling me to install new chain lol and as for the installing of the speedo healer. that thing is more of a pain than that link shows. first mistake i did was to have a full tank of gas when lifting up the tank. secondly, u will wish that u had tiny hands cause it took me for ever to ge the thing unhooked when i finally found the right plug. there is a porting of the plug that is attached to your motor. dont make the mistake that i did and think that was the part that u needed to disconnect. the actall plug is farther towards the right side of the bike taped to another wire.
