oh trust me it will be plenty loud enough for you.

what i did to get it to fit was pick up a plain old turn down tip from autozone. I do not remember the exact diameter but you can figure it out with a tape measure. cut a little of both ends of the turn down tip and is slid into the r6 shorty perfectly. had my friend hold the pipe with i gave it a few good whacks with a dead blow hammer to make sure it was not coming out. (oh an it is not coming out i tried everything to get it out, it is stuck good) then slid the other end of the turn down tip into my headers (i should have taken it to a muffler shop and had them flair the end to fit perfectly over the headers, but i was to lazy). after i slid it in the headers the bracket i made from a piece of stainless steel held it in place perfectly and would not let it slide out at all. I took some rtv high temp make a gasket and sealed it all up, would not have had to use the make a gasket if i would have taken it to a muffler shop to get it flared.

I think after everything was done i spent less than 50 bucks on it.

I have heard of people that just weld it right to their headers, but i wanted to be able to take it off if i ever wanted to.

if you have any more questions just ask.

i was tempted but, thank goodness i didnt get one.

I have a stock 07 r6 can, kind of. Its stock however, the previous owner painted it black and welded a straight pipe in it.

SO its really just a pipe that looks like an exahust.
If you want it i'll let it go cheap. you could possibly remove the stock exhaust packing material and put it in this thing.

but honestly i am not a fan of the r6 can on the f4i something about that bracket looks awkward.

Any more pics of that R6 exhaust ars1986? What is the hanger that you made for it mounted to? (Not easy to see from the pic)
