Default short pipe?

i was thinking of putting a vfr 750 single sided swing arm on my f3. my only problem is the side mounted exhaust... its going to defeat the purpose of having an ssa. i was wondering if i should put one of those short pipe mufflers on( the custom ones that stop before the wheel) so i would still get the ssa look, without having to put the exhaust under the tail.

wondering if this small exhaust pipe is the best step to take? are they really loud and not worth it? what are disadvantages to these short exhaust pipes?

I can honestly say, shorty cans arent good for silencing your exhaust at all. trust me, they'll make it louder. you can customize and perhaps get something like the stock muffler off an 06+ R6 and adapt it to work for you I'm certain. that would certainly help with the noise quite a bit, while still retaining that shorty muffler look.
