hmm. I've never thought about doing that. I'll have to give it a try the next time *ahem* first time I take an extra long highway ride.

Great topic!

I have been on the fence about ordering a dbl or race screen for my 06. I'm 5'4" 184. Would I benefit from the aftermarket?

Default without windscreen

All I know is riding without a windscreen is MISERABLE... My 2 roommates have a 2008 Suzuki SV650 (Blue in pic) and a 2007 Triumph Speed Triple (green in pic). Both of these bikes are naked and without a front cowl or windscreen of any sorts. I have been on both bikes at highway speeds (or higher) and with nothing to tuck behind it made the ride more work than fun.

The simple explanation I gave to my little brother was to stick his head out of the car on I-35 doing 75mph and tell me how it feels.

I guess my point is that I understand looks are important to some people, such as the stunt bike look, or chopping the windscreen, but if it makes the actual riding unbearable? No thank you.
