Default Riding Position

Hey guys, I was sitting on an 05 CBR600RR today at the dealership, and it feels like my knees aren't in the right place. when i sat on the 08, the new tank design contoured quite nicely with my legs. i was just wondering if maybe i was sitting too far back on the seat or something? how close to the tank do you guys sit? i'm almost 6'3" so it's a little uncomfortable. suggestions? thanks!

I'm 6'2" and sit about halfway back on the seat on my '08. There's still enough contact area between the tank and my legs and I don't crush my jewels on the tank either. It's still comfortable enough since I have long arms to reach without being bent over too far, so for me it's the best comprimise.

get some adjustable rearsets and you will be good to go.
