I put them on last night and waited for the glue to dry. When i put the bar ends on the grips are about 1/2 an inch too small.[:@] What the hell????THey said for a 2002 f4i!!! Is there anything i can do .....besides buying new ones!!

 

may be you should have place the grips on the bars before applying the glue. you know, just to make sure that they would fit.
i hope the next set you have is a better fit.

 

Thats kind of hard to do when they dont just slide on and off!!

 

You blow compressed air between it and the bar and it goes on and comes off like butter. Once the air goes away it wont move.

 

i had the same thing with my first set. Ends up they were off road grips but i didnt have them glued on. So they went on my dirtbike and i had to get another set!

 

as long as they go where you hand goes...it's all good...but it may look fugly...but it still works!

You just get to buy another set. Next time fill the grip with water and soap they will slip on and off to test the fit. then you just dry off the soap and wet the grip and it will slip on. Old golf club trick.

 

hairspray works the best, spray inside, slide grips on, set them where you want and they are ready to ride within a minute.
