Anyone know the best way to remove the tank decals. Im about to get the whole bike painted and need to get this damn thing off!! I removed all of the other ones very easy but this one seems to be different. Anyone have any tips for me??

The tank decals are underneath a layer of clear coat, only way to get to them is sand off the clear and then peel off the decals.

The tank decals on my bike were cleared over as well. I heated and peeled them like the rest. The clear is fairly thin, just rock and roll with it.

yea the tanks decals are under the clear coat, so you have to sand off the clear coat to get them off. if your getting it painted then you should be sanding it anyways, so just sand them off (unless you want to keep them, then maybe try cutting through the clear coat with a knife and peeling them off? not sure on the best way to keep them....
