How hard is removing tank decals?
Hey guys, how hard would it be to remove the 2 Wing continuance segments from the gas tank? Are they underneath the clear coat, cause they feel like they are. I just wanna know if anyone has done this already?
Another question for anyone with Number Plates... where did you order yours from? I'm lookin at the ones from tapeworks.com but am still on the fence about them. Thanks!

Tank decals are a pain, expect to have to start from scratch again after sanding off clearcoat (repaint the whole tank including base coat).
As far as numberplates go buy some white (quality) spray paint and some vinyl numbers from your local hardware store or sign shop. If your going to race or even just track your bike don't dump a mint on looks because eventually your beautiful bike is going to hit the ground, and then your out a a whole bunch of cash.
I masked off the back of my tail, sanded the surface rough and sprayed it white instant $8.00 number plate. You can do the same to the front if you're so inclined. It actually came out really nice. It looks pro.
