Default ratteling noise

Hi,
I just recently noticed my bike making a ratteling noise when im around 4-5k. I use 93 octane and had the oil changed about 700 miles ago. I dont have a keychain so I can't figure out what hte problem could be. Any suggestions?

Matt

93 octane's causing the rattling... in your pocket ;( 87's all you need.
Search for CCT for the bike rattling.

no wheelies. basically just cruising around. never really get it over 9k. another question. could it be the cct even if it rattles around 5k while reving the motor in neutral?? only 4000 miles '01 f4i

It may be something simple like a loose fairing vibrating. I just had a problem on my bike where at 7k I'd get really annoying rattling. I found that my front fender/fairing was a bit loose and would rattle.
Easy to check.
