Are you referring to the bolts that hold the triple clamps closed around the fork?

No I mean the shock mount in the rear. When I said the front I was looking at this mod from my point of view: setting it up for riding style. The only reason I raised the rear is because I couldn't lower the front end enough to get the geometry I wanted. If your doing this just because you want the rear end higher and not to tune the suspension then I don't see any benefit to the shims vs some sort of link. Anyways the shock mount in the rear has a built in bolt or stud, whatever you want to call it. If you need the longer bolt then you need the entire link as its one piece.

Ok, now I understand. I am doing this to optimize handling. How far did you lower your front end?
