Default Raising the rear??

Hey.. Does anyone know if you can get jack up kits for the old girl. I can find them for almost everyother bike except the CBR's. Any thoughts on the pro's and con's if i can find one?? I just thought a little more space on the back end could look good but i dont want it to effect the way the bike handles.. thoughts guys??

Default RE: Raising the rear??

I've read on this forum that an F4i shock will lift the rear of an F2. Remember though, any time you change the angle of the forks in relationship to the road surface it WILL change how the bike handles. The steeper the angle (rake) the more sensitive the bike will be to steering inputs. You don't want to create something that will naturally fall into a tankslapper condition. My seat already wants to push me forward, I don't think big Jim and the twins would appreceate even more forward tilt.

You will need a shorter than stock dogbone/link to raise the rear.
