Quick wiring question
I know I saw the answer to this question in a post somewhere and i cannot find it. I am curious as to which wire on the turn signals are the running and which are the blinker itself. I did find a few posts to this, but one said that the solid wire is the running lights and the other post said the the stripped wire is the running lights....im confused LOL just need some light shed on this for me thanks!

RE: Quick wiring question
are you trying to put flush mounts on your bike? If so, you have to take the ground from the stock and wire to the ground of the aftermarket. Then the wire you have left from the stock, you wire that to the two of the aftermarket. But first, you have to put in a diode on each of the wires of the aftermarket and then wire them all together coming to a Y at the end. Then, wire the Y to the stock. hope this makes sense and helps.

Sounds like yur working on the front turn signals.
Connect the green wireto theground terminal.
Turn the key on...then turn on the blinkers (the side you are working on).
Touch the two remaining wires to the other terminal (on at a time) to indicate

RE: Quick wiring question
Sweet! Thank you everyone for the fast replies! I just installed some flush mounts up front and the hot bodies had two wires while my bike had 3. So I wired the ground and then combined the other two wires together (the blinker and the running). That caused the turn signals to always be running lights, even in the back. This is getting annoying to I just wanted to cut the running light wire on my signals would be back to normal! Haven’t had time to check it out yet, but I’ll get to it tomorrow night hopefully! Thanks for the replies!
