Default Quick Flushmount Help- Wiring stuff...

Here is what they claim to do (dealer)

"Once the mid fairing is off you splice the two wire on our LED's its black and red. the black goes to green on both sides. then the red wire goes to the orange wire for the left signal and for the right it goes to the light blue. "

What if I just spliced the two OEM wires (blinker/running) together on the hot wire of the flushmount.??? With the instructions I got provided it will only work one or the other. Plus both the wires are the same color one just has a stripe on it.. got I hate ****ty instructions....

You will if they Are LED. Soo one of those positive wires is constant on the other is the blinker signal.

Learn to use the "Search" feature buddy, it helps a TON... and your question woulda been answered before you asked!!!

https://cbrforum.com/m_129799/tm.htm

You can also download a service manual (use the search feature once more) and it will show you what wires are constant, signal, ground, etc.

You can use them as running lights and blinkers. Its just makes your dash blinker stay on (it still blinks). Thats how I have mine setup, both the running and blinking hooked up and it works just fine.

Here's a question for you, did you purchase a single filiment flush mount or a dual filiment flush mount.

The single filiment has 2 wires and only works as a blinker
The dual filiment has 3 wires and works as a blinker and runnng lights.

They are the hotbodies two wire set-up.. I think I am just going to add a second set of running lights in the air ducts with blinkers/running lights- 3 wire setup.

See if you can exchange them for the dual filiment ones. I made the same mistake and my new short stalk blinker/running lights should be in Monday.

Good luck
