Quick front turn signal wiring color question.
hey guys,
quick question since i don't have my bike here to check. I made some custom front turn singals....of course i will post pics later
...... but I want to wire them. I only want them to light up as turn signals and not running lights. Question is which wire is the correct one? I know there is one ground and two positives....both are same color but one has white stripe. So which of the two is the running light and which is a turn signal?
Thanks

I forget which wires are which, but you could do it the old fashioned way... strip all the wires, turn the bike on and the turn signal on, and start touching wires together.

The green wire should be the ground. The solid colored wires should be the turn signals. The striped wire should be the running light. This is how mine is. The front right turn signal is blue and the left is orange.
I agree with dwschultzy. I just got back from the garage where I was working on the exact same thing. The green is the ground and the wire with the stripe on it is the running light.
