hey i dont have any of the new bikes like some here, ive got 93 f-2. like "supersteve911" i ride in the 6000 rpm to 7000 rpm range tack is redlined at 12500rpm is my bike too old to have powerband or am i not going high enough in revs ?????
On my f4i, at a spirited pace, I like to keep the revs between 9000 and 14,000. Keeping it above 9000, from my experience, provides the best drive out of the corners.
If I had to get really technical I would say my bike starts to really pick up around 8500-8600 and I shift from 12.5k - 13.5k....or at least try to HAHAHA
