FYI

There are two odos. What I usually do is, I set one for the chain maintenance and another one for fuel. And excel spread sheet for all other things.

This is right on from my experience. I can go about 130-140 miles before the reserve indicator comes on. When it does I have about 15-20 miles before the 4 bars of the reserve indicator have gone down and the whole thing is flashing (time for gas for sure).

Here's a pic of my gauge cluster but it doesn't show the reserve indicator since the fuel wasn't low at the time of the photo, not sure it'll help but since you asked I'll post it. By the way, the reserve indicator would show up on the far left of the LCD screen as 4 blocks vertically and then counts down to 3 blocks, 2, 1, block, then they all flash at the same time shortly before you start pushing your bike to the next gas station.

thanks for the responses. I appreciate it. I just got my "safety course" done today so I can actually start to ride it now. I have a feeling the miles are going to pile up (when I have time). My cluster is swapped from a different bike and has the incorrect miles on the ODO. How hard do you think it would be to have the correct mileage adjusted on it?
