Guage Cluster
Has any one tryed to put in a guage cluster from a 600rr onto the F4i
been pondering it for my bike a 2002 F4i if not how much different is the 600rr from the F4i other than cosmetic diffrences

other then cosmetic diffrences? thats the diffrence between every cluster. they all show the speed, some have clocks and fuel gagues thats about the only diffrence
i think the 600rr has a fuel gauge rather then a reserve gauge like the f4i, and it might also have an air temperature sensor. since our bikes dont have either of those sensors, you would have to get them from the RR or figure out how to bypass them. thats assuming that the gauge would be able to even wire up to the f4i. i would try to find a picture of just the gauge either in the for sale section or on ebay and see if its even remotely close to the same connector.
muckdawg24, check out http://www.bluegauges.com/, you can also do the same with a soldering iron and some leds if you are really talented with circuit boards

Ill have to look it would be nice to have the temp gauge and would really like to have a fuel gauge rather than just a reserve
i am pretty handy at fabbing up some stuff so if i can find a gauge cheep enough to experiment on ill build it
