Over heating?
my bike runs at 178 degrees as iam running down the road but at a light it will go up to maybe 210 is probably the hottest i have seen it.i did notice the other day when it was 99 degrees outside going down the highway it read 188 degrees?

ejohn you Alaskan 12oclocker. Come on, we are all taking about the worse case scenarios in reference where the bike is most likely to overheat. Which is the street and on a red light. As well as, what temperature is relatively normal. Furthermore, others have mentioned how to prevent over heating.
You are taking about the most ideal case in where you ride on the highway and everything is fine; Wow thanks for the news flash.

I think you are getting worried for nothing. Hondas ride hotter than other bikes. But if you want, take it out on a highway if it is around 230 and it will cool down.
