so when my bike gets around 215F+, it wont idle. instead, the engine just cuts off if i dont rev it.

 

it can't be overheating. Mine turns on the fan at 110 degrees Celsius (230 deg F). And that is about normal. Did you change the coolant recently (maybe there is air left in the system) Did you check the coolant level? But, then again, if it is not cooled properly, the temperature meter should rise temperature... So, I am quite sure it is not an overheating issue...
