hah "cheap imitation" is relative. I have a set of these and there is not a thing cheap about them. It's made out of 6061 aluminum stock, machined and polished prefectly. The shoulder/neck of the slider fits snuggly into the recess for the engine mount bolt and the slider makes full contact with the frame.

The pucks are made out out delrin which has get abrasion properties so even if you go down you will not neceasirly have to replace the puck.
