Hey so I recently just purchased my '01 f4i this Monday, and everything was working fine up until this afternoon. I went out for a ride after washing the bike, and noticed my oil temp. was not reading, it just had those 2 horizontal dashes the entire time while riding. I'm thinking the fuse may have gone, or something got wet. Any ideas?

 

First, that's not oil temp, its coolant temp. Second, check all fuses, then possibly loose wire to the sensor. GL

 

My bad, I've worked on a lot of cars before, but motorcycles are pretty new to me. I'll definitely take a look in the morning. Thanks though.
