Finally got my bike set to ride only to notice the temp gauge doesnt seem to work. Anyone know where the sending unit is located so i can start with that?

 

Just above the CCT, basically. If you pull the tank and airbox, you'll see a brass-stud.
It's down on the right side, just in front-ish of the carbs. There is a single-wire connector to it. See if that has come loose. If it has, there's your answer.
