Feathering the clutch mid-corner is a bad idea.

No amount of mapping changes will totally smooth the notchy off/on. I spoke with my buddy at Leo Vince who was a lead tech at Dynojet when F4i was new. I took his advice and leaned it out -15 at 2 and 10% throttle which blunted the jerky response somewhat but it's always going to be there, especially in first gear at high revs. (Its a 600, that's where it lives after all) the smoothing was most noticeable in 2nd gear. Feel free to experiment and report your results. I had to lean it out at 0% to stop it from loading up on decel.

I'm finding that it's not an issue on the track with the high revs. It's only noticable on the street.

yeah, its only annoying when Im slowing for a tricky turn on the street. On the track you don't encounter this situation and are thinking about other things-(like staying on the road!)

I can be pretty smooth but holding that constant tension tires my wrist. Some bikes don't reward:
The Triumph Street Tripple I tried didnt care how gently you cracked the throttle and jerked no matter what.

Not to hijack this thread, but I bought my bike used and it was proclaimed to have the PC III. How do I validate this claim?

Mine is installed under my passenger seat. Its a black/ silver box with obvious writing on it.
