it appears precisely at 6-6.1k rpm, not much area, but i'm sure that with more mileage this area will spread and the rattle will become louder, so i'm thinking of the solution beforewise..
yeah, just take it out and tack weld that tip/roll pin on there and it should take care of it for ya. At least untill the lifter itself starts to wear too much....mine at 26K has not yet so...we shall see.
