here's an off the wall question...kinda on topic though...to the guys running "race" fairings without headlights, how do you keep the headlight harness from preventing your bikes from running??

Could be wrong but I am going to assume they still use the harness just don't plug in the headlights.

i would think it would still show up as missing the bulbs...but then i haven't really had a chance to look at the wiring yet.

though i will soon...very soon

Got the bike running. It was the big harness on the left by the intake.

hate that feeling. you want to ride but then again you dont want to risk having to push 400 pounds of metal back home.

Yeah...if it doesn't run, it does become a really big paper weight

Awesome Xander. Glad your back up and going. Thats why I post updates when I can so I can help a fellow rider who is having the same problem I am. I hate it when you find a thread about someone who is having the same problem but there is no solution so really it does no good. Ride safe man.
