Which Michelin Tire?

They should stop making the regular power and road IMO, the 2ct versions do everything the non-2ct's do better.
My bike is a split- all highway miles during the week, lots of twistys on the weekend. I run power 2ct's and get 10,000+ from a rear and 14,000+ from a front. I also rub the michelin man off the edge within 100 miles so its not like Im easy on them.

I got around 8k from a set of PR's n between 5-6k on PP's and about the same on 2CTs

Not to thread jack, but another tire related question. I'm looking into the Michelins, however, I either am riding long miles straight up, like highway, or just out cruising in the country, but other days, I'll hit the twisties all day. Is there a tire which has a longer life upright, but still plenty of grip on the edge. I have some Shinko no names right now, and I'm wearing them about a quarter inch to the edge of the tire, and losing a little faith.

+1 on the pilot road 2's. EXCELLENT tire that communicates well and takes all i throw at 'em in the smoky mountain twisties. the edges of the PR2's are the same compound as in the PP's. the big difference is the center portion, which is a harder compound for longer tire life while riding the slabs.
