I use PR2ct's because the closest thing to twisties in central Illinois are highway off ramps which makes the PP's a more expensive waste of money.

the pilot roads are more of a touring tire i think. the Pilot Power 2CT and regulars are your average sticky street tire, good for twisties and spirited riding.

My bike, a 2001 CBR 600 F4I, is used for touring and commuting. It will see no track days or hard cornering.

so i would go with the Pilot Road for you then. it's still capable of having some fun on the twisties, but it's a good tire. i've seen people get 12k out of them.

They should stop making the regular power and road IMO, the 2ct versions do everything the non-2ct's do better.
My bike is a split- all highway miles during the week, lots of twistys on the weekend. I run power 2ct's and get 10,000+ from a rear and 14,000+ from a front. I also rub the michelin man off the edge within 100 miles so its not like Im easy on them.
