Default loose chain?

The left foot peg feels like and vibrates like something is grinding/rattling. Would that be from the chain possibly being too loose and rubbing against something or clutch/tranny? It rides and shifts fine though so im assuming its most likely the chain but its my first bike and I havent tightened one before so I dont want to mess with it until im sure.

Your chain tension is very easy to check. Youre looking for a slack range between 1" and 1.4". Get your tape measure and pull the chain down and measure from the bottom of the chain to the ground. Now lift the chain up and measure again. Subract the values and see if your chain is loose

Sure thing.

BTW, do this measurement in a few different places on the chai nand avg the measurements.

A couple of very helpful links.

The hand controls, foot controls and Sag video's are must see for new F4 owners. I cant tell you how much they helped me setup my ride.
