Default K&N Oil filter question...

Hello ladies and gentlemen....

So, about 5 months ago i change my bike's oil and filter, now it's time to change it again but my question is if i have to change the filter also, its a K&N oil filter. I dont know if the filter has to be replaced on each oil change or if it can be changed every 2 oil changes....

Thanks for your input....

Combination of personal preference and what type of oil you use. Some people just love their bikes so much that they'll throw in the extra $10-15 every oil change. I recommend changing it every time. New and old oil feel COMPLETELY different and I wouldn't want to ruin a good batch of oil. Definitely change it if you use a different weight/type(semi/full) and I'd also recommend changing it if you're using a different brand. Each brand is different regardless of weight/type.

I personally change mine every time simply for peace of mind and I just love my bike too much.
