Just bought my first f4i, quick question...
Proud to announce I found one! Went out and bought it today; 2001 red & white with 20,000 on the clock, two owners, immaculate condition! Had to pay $3300 for it but it seemed worth it. Only thing I'm concerned about is the 52 or 53 (can't remember which at the moment) tooth rear sprocket. Seems a little unnecessary on a bike this light with 100 hp. And, as I'm going to be using it as a commuter, wouldn't it be better for gas mileage to go back to the stock 46 tooth sprocket? Thanks.

Thanks! I'm really excited. This is the first sports bike I've had since a decreasing-radius turn got the better of my gsx-r 750 back in 2007. I'm planning on replacing the rear sprocket and chain (My first bike was a used FZR-600 that decided to snap the poorly maintained chain and suck it up into the crank case about a week after I bought it) but I'm wondering, what are the odds of the front sprocket being worn out after 20,000 miles? I know they're cheap, but it adds up.
