If you shop around you'll be able to find something massively bright.

At least you're staying away from a hotbodies undertail with the 2 small circle LED's that function as directionals, brake, and running light....brutal.

I think that's what i have on my bike. (i bought it used) and yes i cringe all the time.

Does anyone know of some super bright LED replacements that will fit and where i can get them? I'm not sure what im looking for and im having trouble finding them.

Did i fry something or is it just the bulb? Thank you for not getting off topic.

Also, the plate light stopped working after the mini fireworks. And the red light that usually shows up on the dashboard when i start the bike doesnt come out either. I have a bad feeling about this...
You wired it up wrong and blew your fuse. Nothing major. You just need a new fuse.

I added red LEDs for brake lights to my pass pegs that already have amber LEDs for signals added to em. I'll get some pix taken and post em up in the next few days.

i got one installed and never had problems with it neither i think its dangerous. idk what type of integrated taillight you got but mine does not 'eliminate' the brake light when initiated.

u got a fuse box right by the battery . fuses are the little colorful rectangles. they basically save your electrical system from frying if there is a short. go to pepboys or autozone and by one of the fuse checkers with a lamp that lights up if a fuse is good. i got one and it makes checking fuses a breeze. or you could just pull one by one and see if any of them is blown (they all should have a solid S going from one point to the other).
i know pepboys have fuses that light up when theyre blown so you will know right away if one is bad.

I have never looked at the fuses on my bike but I have never seen a fuse that you cant inspect by sight. If you see black soot its been blown and is no good.

Thanks for all the helpful responses. The whole installation is taking longer than I thought. I probaly wont be able to look into it until the end of summer session. Darn it.

Is it that time of the month? I just told him to look for black soot instead of going to Pepboys and buying a fuse checker or worrying about a "S." Black = no good. It's as simple as that.
