that's the thing......the way it's designed...you're always going to get increased tolerances at tip/pin/shaft area and then the shaft/cctl body area.
it gets worn so the metal parts rattle...hence the noise. they've updated the part a few times but still same issues.
so technically...the cctl is not failing, it's still doing it's job...it's just noisy.
