Default 3rd gen cctl?

My 06 f4i came stock with the updated cam chain tensioner lifter [14520-mbw-j23] and it lasted 28,000 miles before rattle and is now at 31,000 with no problems. So I orderd a new stock one and got a 14520-mbw-j24. I cannot find this part number in the parts catalogs online and want to make sure its the right one before I put it in. I also couldn't find anything about it using the search function. Anyone know about it?

they wont.. you would be better off with ordering a manual cct from APE. but since you already ordered it you'll get piece of mind for a lilttle while then you'll be replacing it again.

Right, in another 28,000 miles. Besides, cam chain tension changes depending on acceleration or deceleration which the manual one dosen't adjust for like the stock one does.

This is where I stand also... Even though it rattles I'll stick with the auto-adjusting tensioner. It is just safer.
