Pit bull seems to make the best stands around. You'll pay a few extra bucks for them but I've heard they are the best. Plus they hold resale value so if you get rid of your bike, you can sell the stand for 30% less than what you paid for it.

As far as changing the front wheel goes, here's what I do:

To do the job you'll have to suspend the bike so you can get the front wheel off the ground. I did this by screwing a heavy duty screw eye into one of the rafters in my garage and then making a small U shaped bracket that I bolted to where the tank bolts to the front of the frame. Then I used a "come-a-long" tie down ratchet strap with one end hooked to my homemade u bracket and the other to the screw eye to lift the front wheel off the ground while the rear was on a swingarm stand. This works pretty well.

Go to this link http://hondatech.info/downloads/Moto/
and download the service manual for your f4i. It'll tell you exactly how to remove the front wheel. I found a lot of good info on the manual.. goodluck ..

I use a pit bull custom stand. First, take off the calipers, 2 bolts on each one. Take out the four pinch bolts, 2 on each fork leg. Take a round screwdriver or something that will fit into the axle hole (the hole going parallel to the bike) and hold that while loosening the axle nut from the other side. Pull out the axle while supporting the wheel with your free hand and let the wheel come out.
For reassembly, use blue loctite on the caliper bolts and also apply a thin layer of bearing grease on the axle. Also make sure the spacers go on the same side as they came out.
For good measure, mark with an arrow the direction of wheel rotation to make sure they instal the tires the right way and also to make sure you put them back on the right way. (not needed on the back...it's obvious which side is which).

The front is easy once it's off the ground... so get a front stand or tie the bike up to your rafters with some ratcheting tie downs around your frame. Make sure you have a torque wrench for install (all you need is a cheap one from sears for $30).
