Default EASY WAY TO REMOVE WHEEL?

I wrecked the ole bike last week and i need to remove the front wheel. i dont have an stands or a chain hoist. is there any way to hold the bike up so i can remove the front wheel?i thought about running a bar through the swingarm and sitting jackstands under it so the bike could rock backwards?

yea you can do that, but just remember that the weight is up front, so it will want to dip forwards...you put some support like phone books, etc. under the header too (assuming you have the stock iron ones).

I found that a car jack will fit under the bike without having to take the fairings off.Ijacked it up just enough to get it off the ground. I then screwed anchor bolts into each side of my shed and ran tow straps to each bar for balance. Worked like a charm and the jack did absolutely no damage to the header. Not even a scratch.
