Default Rear Wheel alignment...Made EASY!

Recently had to replace the rear tire and tried the string alignment method...TOO many steps! I made it a bit simpler...If there is anything else anyone can add, feel free!

There's another way that's a million times better. I recently saw it in an ad somewhere and will make my own. It uses the hollow axle and the hollow swingarm pivot mounting bolt where a rod goes through and you measure the distance between the two. I'll see if I can find it again....

The broom handle trick would work great if you could be positive that the front tire is pointed perfectly straight ahead. I use a 12" length of 1/2" aluminum angle and c-clamp it the the rear sprocket. When the chain aligns with the aluminum angle then the rear wheel is aligned.

I think the product you're refering to is the Rhino Axelign Wheel Alignment tool. Featured in the July 2007 issue of Sport Rider. The site listed is www.rhinomoto.com
